North Fork Trout Creek

Once again, and with little notice, Edison (N7GCW) donned his backpack and left home for another adventure this past September 30, 2008. This time to North Fork Trout Creek near his home.

He headed out with two radios, a solar panel to recharge the batteries, and a multi-band vertical antenna.

Edison performed a lot of work on 40 meters (7025-7050), checked in with the Great Northern Boaters Net on LSB (3870), and worked satellites in the meantime. Edison also was able to utilize the Colville, WA repeater  to QSO with a few friends, and hooked up to an IRLP repeater to chat with his old friend Doc' Hendrickson (KG6ZIN) in northern California, on his way traveling during commute hours to & from work. Attempts were also made on 10 meters for a bit of DX'ing

Check back often to Edison's Amateur Radio Adventures Trek page to see what he's doing next......
